About the role:
Justteachers is offering an opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a community primary school in Louth. The role is to start September 2026 and is expected to last for 1 term. The role is part-time (08.30-13.00) and will include working 1:1 with a KS2 student with SEN.
With a focus on inclusion, the school ensures every child and teacher feels valued and supported, creating a welcoming and respectful environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- To support a Y3 student with complex needs on a 1:1 basis
- Provide feedback to the main class teacher and SENCO
- Provide a safe learning environment for the student
- Build strong rapport and support with learning activities
Pre-requisites:
- TA Level 3 qualification preferred
- Proven SEN/SEMH experience
- Two education or school-based references
- Ability to build rapport with students of all backgrounds and abilities
