About the role: Justteachers are looking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner pre schools located in Stratford. This is a full‑time, long‑term position starting ASAP.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting children across the EYFS curriculum
- Assisting the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging activities
- Helping to create a warm, stimulating learning environment
- Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and academic development
Pre-requisites:
- Previous experience working with children with SEND (especially in a 1:1 capacity)
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3) is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
- Ability to adapt to the pupil’s individual needs and learning style
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
