About the Role
Justteachers is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in a friendly primary school in Liversedge starting in September.
The school prides itself on its warm, nurturing environment and strong relationships with pupils and families.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Support pupils to access learning and engage positively in classroom activities.
- Implement individual learning, behaviour and support plans.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional and communication development.
- Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and support staff to meet individual needs.
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Pre-requisites
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school setting.
- Knowledge of additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH or Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) is desirable.
- A patient, caring and proactive approach.
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and practice.
- Ability to provide two education-based references.
