A busy, inclusive secondary school in Liversedge is seeking a committed and experienced SEND School Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This part‑time position runs until Summer 2026 in the first instance, offering a rewarding opportunity to support young people within both mainstream classrooms and a well‑established on‑site SEND provision.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide tailored 1:1 and small‑group support for students with SEND across KS3 and KS4.
- Assist with differentiated learning, behaviour strategies and personalised support plans.
- Work within the school’s on‑site provision to help maintain a calm, structured and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and external agencies to ensure consistent, high‑quality support.
- Encourage independence, engagement and positive learning behaviours.
- Uphold safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive practice at all times.
- Experience supporting students with SEND in both primary and secondary settings.
- Strong understanding of a range of needs, including ASD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
- Excellent communication, patience and relationship‑building skills.
- A proactive, compassionate and flexible approach.
- Availability to work part‑time from ASAP through to Summer 2026.
