We are working in partnership with a large, well‑established academy in Lincoln that is proud of its inclusive ethos, strong community links, and commitment to delivering a broad, engaging curriculum. The academy is now seeking a passionate Food Technology Teacher to join their team on a part‑time basis from April 2026 until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality, engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Bring strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for practical learning
  • Maintain a safe, well‑organised teaching environment
  • Build positive relationships with students and contribute to a collaborative department
  • Demonstrate a commitment to raising achievement and supporting all learners

Pre‑requisites

  • Recent experience teaching DT/Food Technology using the UK Curriculum KS3 and/or KS4
  • Be able to supply at least 2 education/school based references
  • Candidate must hold a teaching qualification: qualified teacher status (QTS) or qualified teacher learning and skills (QTLS) or newly qualified teacher status (ECT)
  • Strong behaviour management
  • Strong subject specialist
