About the role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a large Secondary Academy, in the Lincoln area, who are looking for an English Teacher from September 2026. This is a long-term placement expected to last until December 2026 and will be part-time (3-4 days.)
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious secondary school, that continuously aim to achieve academic potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering creative lessons to KS3 and KS4
- Support the academic and personal growth of students, ensuring their progression in English
- Assessment of students’ progress to be reported to your line manager
- Working as part of a team within the department
Pre-requisites:
- Experience teaching English to KS3 and or KS4.
- An updated DBS Certificate or willing for one to be completed
- A passionate individual who will inspire and motivate their learners using a range of strategies.
- Be able to supply at least 2 education/school based references
- Candidate must hold a teaching qualification: qualified teacher status (QTS) or qualified teacher learning and skills (QTLS) or newly qualified teacher status (ECT)
