An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Religious Education Teacher to join a welcoming secondary academy in the Lincoln area. The role is due to commence ASAP and will be on long-term supply to cover an ongoing sicknote. You will be expected to teach KS3 and KS4 classes within this role. With excellent sports and extracurricular facilities, staff can lead activities that enrich pupils’ skills and confidence beyond the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach KS3 and KS4 Religious Education, with potential for KS5 depending on experience
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire a love of learning
- Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community
Pre-requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Ability to provide 2 education or school based references
- Specialism in Humanities with strong subject knowledge
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4
