Justteachers is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Lincoln. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled TA ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in shaping young minds. The role is due to commence September 2026 and will be full-time, it is a long-term ongoing supply cover.

Key Responsibilities

• Support class teachers in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Lead small group interventions and provide targeted support to students with varying needs.
• Cover classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and well-being.

Pre-requisites

• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working as a teaching assistant, preferably in a primary school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
