justteachers is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Leyland. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students across the curriculum, supporting both academic progress and personal development. The position is available on a full-time basis, with an ASAP start.
Key Details:
- Full-time hours (with flexibility where possible)
- Supporting students across KS3 and KS4

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-class support to students, including small group and 1:1 interventions
- Support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Assist students with additional learning needs to access the curriculum
- Help foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
Pre-requisites:
- Previous experience working in a secondary school setting (desirable)
- Ability to build positive relationships with young people
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
