Key Responsibilities
- Support outdoor learning sessions across all seasons.
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence, resilience and independence.
- Assist with practical activities including nature-based learning and environmental projects.
- Support children with additional learning and behavioural needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Ensure all activities are delivered safely and in line with risk assessments.
- Pre-requisites
- Experience working with children or young people.
- A passion for outdoor learning and child development.
- A calm, patient and proactive approach.
- Forest School qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Confidence working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
