This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in engineering, manufacturing, construction, woodworking or a school workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare materials and equipment for practical lessons.
- Maintain workshop machinery and ensure equipment is safe and compliant.
- Support teachers and students during practical activities.
- Monitor stock levels and order materials when required.
- Carry out routine maintenance and health & safety checks.
- Ensure workshop areas remain clean, organised and safe.
Pre-requisites
- Experience working within a workshop or technical environment.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
- Good organisational and practical skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience within education is desirable but not essential.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
