The successful candidate will take responsibility for a small group of pupils with additional needs, delivering highly tailored teaching to support both academic progress and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons within the internal SEND provision.
  • Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
  • Create a structured, calm, and engaging learning environment.

Work closely with support staff, SENCO, and external professionals to implement effective strategies.

Pre‑requisites

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching pupils with SEND.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive practice and differentiated learning.
  • Confident behaviour management and ability to support complex needs.
  • A patient, adaptable, and collaborative approach to teaching.
