We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the LS10 area of Leeds from September 2026. This full-time role is offered on a supply basis, with a competitive daily rate of £160–£200, depending on experience. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Reception class, delivering engaging early years provision and supporting pupils at a key stage in their learning and development.

Staff work collaboratively to provide a calm, engaging, and supportive environment where children feel safe, confident, and motivated to explore and learn. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based learning in line with the EYFS framework.
- Support pupils’ development in communication, social skills, and early literacy and numeracy.
- Create a nurturing, structured classroom environment that supports behaviour and independence.
- Work closely with EYFS staff, support staff, and parents to ensure consistency and progress.
Pre‑requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with EYFS or Reception teaching experience.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- A nurturing, patient, and creative teaching approach.
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
