About the role:
Justteachers are supporting a secondary school in Leeds who is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their successful Mathematics department. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with school and departmental expectations.
- Use data and assessment to track progress and provide targeted support.
- Contribute to curriculum development and department initiatives.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Participate in whole‑school CPD, meetings, and wider school activities.
- Maintain excellent communication with students, colleagues, and parents.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths.
- Ability to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
- Suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs.
