About the role: justteachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary English Teacher to join a thriving school in Leeds from September 2026. This long-term, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality English lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider school community. You will work closely with colleagues to foster a positive learning environment and support students in achieving their academic potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
- Support students with varying abilities and learning needs
- Participate in school events, parent evenings, and extracurricular activities
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
