About the role: justteachers are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Leeds on a temporary basis, starting immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students and make a real impact within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Encourage creativity, confidence and artistic expression in all students
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with the wider department and school staff
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
- A genuine passion for Art and education
- Two school based references
