About the role: Justteachers is seeking an Inclusion Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary or specialist school in the Lancaster area on a long‑term basis. The full‑time post is due to start in May 2026, with shortlisting currently taking place. The school is committed to inclusive practice, ensuring all pupils—particularly those with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs—are supported to access the curriculum, feel valued, and reach their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs in the classroom, 1:1 and small‑group settings
  • Assisting teachers in adapting learning activities to ensure inclusion and accessibility
  • Promoting positive behaviour, engagement and emotional wellbeing across the school

Pre-requisites:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience supporting children with additional needs
  • Proven experience working in an inclusive educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of SEND strategies, differentiation and inclusive practice
  • Two education or school‑based references
