Justteachers is excited to be working alongside a partner primary school near Wisbech to appoint a KS2 Teaching Assistant. This part-time role begins after May half term and is expected to last until the end of the academic year, with working hours of 08:30–15:30. The school is looking for someone to join them 4 days per week. You’ll be supporting a KS2 learner on a 1:1 basis, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally within a school that champions inclusion and ensures every child feels seen, supported, and valued.
Key Responsibilities
- To support a Y3 student with complex needs on a 1:1 basis
- Provide feedback to the main class teacher and SENCO
- Provide a safe learning environment for the student
- Build strong rapport and support with learning activities
Pre-requisites
- TA Level 3 qualification preferred
- Proven SEN/SEMH experience
- Recent Primary TA experience
- Two education or school-based references
- Ability to build rapport with students of all backgrounds and abilities
