About the role: Justteachers are pleased to be partnering with a supportive and community focused Primary school in Thetford, who are seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term supply basis, starting September. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver well planned KS2 lessons that support progression across all core subjects
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and resilience in their learning
- Use a range of teaching strategies to engage mixed‑ability learners
- Monitor progress through assessment and adapt teaching to support next steps
- Support pupils in developing positive learning behaviours and self‑motivation
- Maintain accurate classroom and assessment records
- Contribute to collaborative planning and year‑group consistency
Pre‑requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Confidence managing a full class and maintaining positive behaviour
- The ability to deliver clear, structured lessons
- Two recent education based references
