About the role
Justteachers is recruiting for a Year 2 class teacher, working full time in a primary school in Bedworth.
This full-time role will run from September 2026 until the following Easter break and will focus on delivering the national curriculum to pupils aged 6-7 years old.
The school is two form entry and is situated in an urban area.
It supports pupils from early years to KS2 and focuses on creating a warm, nurturing, and supportive community designed to foster confidence and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, structured lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum, supporting early development in literacy, numeracy, and phonics.
- Assess and monitor pupils’ progress, using observations and data to adapt teaching and support individual needs.
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence, positive behaviour, and a love of learning.
- Pre-requisites
- Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
- Proven experience in Primary Education
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
