About the role

Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 & KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Southam for a full time long term position in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate primary teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and create a positive learning environment across the primary age range.

You’ll be joining a supportive staff team in a school that values creativity, inclusion, and high expectations for all pupils.

The role involves planning and delivering lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting children’s academic and personal development, and helping to maintain a nurturing and well-structured classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated.
  • Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs and abilities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote pupil achievement and wellbeing.
  • Follow school policies and contribute positively to the wider school community.

Pre-requisites

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective classroom practice.
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Two relevant teaching references.
