About the role: justteachers is proud to offer an opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support post-16 learners in a specialist setting in Kidderminster from September 2026. This role focuses on preparing young people for adulthood, independence, and future employment pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students aged 16+ with SEN in both academic and life skills development
- Assist with vocational training and employability skills
- Encourage independence, confidence, and social integration
- Support personal care and mobility where necessary
- Work closely with staff to implement personalised support plans
Pre-requisites:
- Experience working with post-16 SEN learners or young adults
- Understanding of life skills and vocational support
