Justteachers is seeking a caring SEN Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Kettering. This full-time role starts September 2026 and runs until July 2027. You will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning and develop independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small group SEN support
  • Assist with communication and engagement in lessons
  • Support pupils with routines and transitions
  • Encourage independence and confidence
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff

Pre-requisites

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
  • Patient and compassionate approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • Two references within the last two years from a related field
