About the role: justteachers is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Thetford to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September. Key Responsibilities:
- Humanities Teaching β Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Humanities lessons across the curriculum
- Curriculum Delivery β Deliver high-quality teaching that supports knowledge, analytical thinking, and student engagement
- Assessment & Progress Tracking β Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support development
- Classroom Management β Maintain a positive, structured, and purposeful learning environment
- Student Engagement β Encourage curiosity, discussion, and active participation in learning
- Inclusive Practice β Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Collaborative Working β Work closely with colleagues, leadership teams, and support staff
- Parent Communication β Build positive relationships with parents and carers

Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A passionate, engaging, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Ability to inspire and motivate pupils of varying abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Two recent, relevant references
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
