A vibrant and ambitious secondary school in Huddersfield is seeking a Teacher of Physical Education to join the team from September 2026. This is a full‑time, long‑term position working across KS3, KS4, and KS5, offering the chance to shape a thriving PE department and inspire students to develop lifelong confidence in sport, fitness, and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dynamic, well‑structured PE lessons across KS3–KS5, adapting to a range of abilities and sporting disciplines.
- Plan, assess, and track student progress in line with curriculum and qualification requirements.
- Lead and support extracurricular sport, fixtures, and enrichment activities.
- Promote a positive, inclusive sporting culture that encourages participation and personal development.

Pre‑requisites
- Strong subject knowledge and previous experience teaching PE, ideally across multiple key stages.
- QTS, QTLS, or a relevant FE teaching qualification.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Confident classroom and sports‑hall management, with the ability to motivate and engage young people.
- Excellent organisational skills and a proactive, energetic approach to teaching and extracurricular involvement.
- Commitment to a full‑time role from September 2026.
