A welcoming and forward‑thinking school in the Huddersfield area is looking to appoint an SEMH Teaching Assistant on a long‑term basis from September. This full‑time role will begin at the start of the new academic year, with the school reviewing applications throughout the summer. Pre‑requisites

  • Qualifications linked to education, childcare, youth work or support work
  • Demonstrable experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
  • Strong understanding of behaviour support, de‑escalation and emotional regulation methods
  • Two references from school or education‑based settings
