About the Role
Justteachers is recruiting a dedicated KS1 Teacher for a long-term supply role in a welcoming and nurturing primary school in the Huddersfield area, starting in September.
The school has a strong focus on early development, phonics and creating a supportive learning environment for younger pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum.
- Support early reading, writing and phonics development.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with staff to support pupil outcomes.
- Pre-requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching KS1 in a UK primary school.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.
- Ability to provide two education-based references.
