Justteachers is seeking a dedicated Teacher with SEND responsibilities to join a welcoming school in the Harrogate area to cover on a long-term basis. This full-time post is due to start in September, with shortlisting currently taking place. Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEND needs
- Supporting pupils with additional needs both academically and emotionally
- Working closely with the SENDCO and support staff to implement and review individual support plans
Requirements
- Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND within a classroom setting
- Strong knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and differentiation
- Two education or school-based references
