About the role
Justteachers is seeking an Autism Support Worker to join a specialist autism provision in the Harrogate area on a long‑term basis. The full‑time post is due to start immediately, with shortlisting currently taking place. The school provides a calm, structured and highly supportive environment, focusing on communication, sensory regulation and personalised learning for pupils with ASC.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with autism to access learning and develop communication and independence
- Implementing structured routines, visual supports and autism‑specific strategies

Pre‑requisites
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, youth work or support work
- Proven experience supporting children or young people with autism
- Strong knowledge of autism‑specific approaches, communication methods and sensory needs
- Two education or school‑based references
