About the Role
Justteachers is seeking a committed Maths Teacher for a welcoming secondary school in Sowerby Bridge. This is a long‑term supply role, starting ASAP, within a school that values high standards, consistency, and supportive staff relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and structured Maths lessons to pupils of varying abilities across KS3 and KS4.
- Use effective teaching strategies to build confidence and promote progress.
- Apply differentiation and assessment techniques to support individual learning needs.
- Maintain clear behaviour expectations to ensure a productive classroom environment.
- Work closely with Maths colleagues, pastoral staff, and leadership teams.
Pre‑requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent Maths teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
- Strong behaviour management and curriculum knowledge.
- Sound understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
- Ability to provide two education‑based references.
