About the Role:
Justteachers is recruiting a full-time Maths Teacher to work in a high-achieving secondary school in Halifax for an ASAP start. This is a long-term supply position in a school that values problem-solving and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Mark and assess students’ work, providing timely feedback in line with school policy.
- Support students with exam preparation and intervention.
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies.
- Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools.
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Ability to provide two education-based references.
