Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the LS20 area of Leeds. This full-time role is available for an immediate start and offers ongoing work, with a daily rate of £95–£105, depending on experience. The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, develop confidence, and make positive progress within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND needs.
- Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons and resources to support individual learning styles.
- Support emotional regulation, social development, and positive behaviour strategies.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and support staff to implement effective interventions.
Pre-requisites / Qualifications
- Experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school environment.
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach to learning and behaviour support.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Confidence supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, or learning difficulties.
