Justteachers are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive Secondary School in Great Yarmouth, who are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September on a long-term supply placement.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and academic progress
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities, including students with SEND and EAL
- Contribute to the wider school community, including enrichment activities where appropriate
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
Pre-requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A strong subject knowledge of the English curriculum
- Experience teaching English at secondary level
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for teaching
- Two education-based references
