You will be part of a nurturing environment that uses structured routines, consistent relationships, and adapted teaching approaches to support pupils who may have experienced trauma or disrupted education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use predictable routines, clear instructions, and visual supports to reduce anxiety and support understanding.
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation, using calm approaches and de‑escalation strategies to manage dysregulation.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships to encourage engagement, resilience, and confidence in learning.
  • Reinforce learning through structured 1:1 or small‑group support, tailored to individual needs.
