About the role:
Justteachers are working with a number of welcoming schools across Grantham who are looking to recruit enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistants for flexible ad hoc supply work starting in September.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking for flexibility while gaining experience across a variety of school settings. We work with a range of schools throughout the area, offering opportunities to support pupils across different age groups and classroom environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers during lessons and classroom activities
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning
- Help prepare learning resources and classroom materials
- Encourage pupils to remain engaged and focused throughout lessons
- Support positive behaviour and follow school routines
- Adapt confidently to different school settings and year groups
- Provide feedback to teaching staff following each placement
Pre-requisites:
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- A positive, patient, and supportive approach
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Confidence supporting children with a range of abilities and needs
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A flexible and reliable approach to supply work
- Two recent education based references
