About the Role: We are working closely with a school in Peterborough to recruit an EYFS Teacher for September 2026. The role is working mornings only as part of a part-time, temporary maternity cover. The school offers a welcoming and nurturing Early Years setting, with a strong focus on child-centred learning, inclusion and positive early development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons during morning sessions
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for young learners
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations
  • Work collaboratively with Early Years staff to ensure continuity of learning
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional and early learning development

Pre-requisites:

  • Relevant teaching qualifications, including Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience of teaching within EYFS
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Two education or school-based references
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
