We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school near Sleaford. The school is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning from the very start of their educational journey. This role will involve taking full responsibility for an Early Years class, including planning, preparation, teaching, assessment, and classroom management. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to deliver engaging learning experiences that support each child’s academic, social, and emotional development. This is a full-time position starting in September 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework
- Assess and monitor children’s progress, adapting learning where required
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents
- Uphold school behaviour, safeguarding, and child protection policies
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience teaching within an EYFS setting
- Right to work in the UK and references covering the last 2 years
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
