Justteachers are recruiting for a Teacher of English, who is looking for a long term role, in a Secondary school in Peterborough on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in May 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key Skills and Attributes:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4
- Teach reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to a range of abilities
- Prepare pupils for GCSE English Language and Literature examinations
- Assess, track and report on pupil progress in line with school policy
- Provide constructive feedback to support progress and attainment
- Promote a love of literature, language and effective communication
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of SEND, EAL and higher attaining pupils
- Contribute to departmental planning, resources and moderation
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 in UK schools
- Knowledge of GCSE English specifications
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
