Justteachers is seeking a dedicated and reliable Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming and nurturing EYFS team in a large primary school in South Manchester. The school prides itself on its inclusivity and diversity and is warm and welcoming. This role is to start in September 2025, with the potential to begin in the second part of the Summer term for the right candidate. The role is until December in the first instance but may become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality care and education to children in the Early Years setting.
- Be part of the planning and delivery of engaging, creative, and educational activities that support children's development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a nurturing learning environment.
- Monitor children's progress and contribute to assessments and development reports.
- Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Support children's emotional and social development through positive role modelling.
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification or above.
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the children and the setting.
- Two school/EYFS setting based references from most recent roles/placement.
- A clear and current Enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one.
