Justteachers are seeking a passionate Teacher of Drama to join a creative and forward-thinking Secondary Academy in Thetford. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator. The role is to start May 2026 and will be until July 2026, and will be 4 days a week (Monday – Thursday).

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 available depending on experience)
  • Plan and deliver dynamic, engaging lessons that ignite students’ passion for the arts
  • Contribute to a thriving extracurricular programme, including school productions, clubs, and performance events
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive Performing Arts department

Pre-requisites

  • Is a qualified teacher (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine love of Drama
  • Brings creativity, enthusiasm, and high expectations to the classroom
  • Values teamwork and contributes positively to school life
  • Is committed to inclusive, student-centred education
  • Ability to provide 2 education or school-based references.
