About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Drama teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Doncaster. This is a full-time, long term supply role running until July 2026. The school is well-regarded for its creative and inclusive ethos, offering a supportive environment where both staff and students are encouraged to excel and express themselves through the arts.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Drama across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and confidence.
- Contribute to school performances, productions, and extracurricular activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Pre-requisites
- Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Proven experience of teaching Drama and/or Music in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Drama and Music.
- Two recent education or school-based references.
- A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
