Justteachers are looking for a caring, proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN school near Cromer on a long‑term supply basis starting from September 2026. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real difference to pupils with additional needs in a warm, supportive and well‑resourced school environment. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to provide personalised support, helping pupils to engage, progress and thrive in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with a range of additional needs
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions
- Help create a calm, structured and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation and social development
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO and external professionals
Pre‑requisites
- Experience working with children with SEN (school or similar setting)
- Two education or school based references
- Patient, adaptable and committed to inclusive practice
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships and provide consistent support
- Willingness to take direction and use initiative when needed
