About the role:
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Coventry to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant within an Autism Resource Base. This is a full-time role with an Immediate start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The provision offers a structured and supportive environment, with access to specialist training and experienced SEND staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide structured 1:1 support
- Support communication and sensory needs
- Deliver small group interventions
- Work closely with specialist staff
Pre-requisites:
- Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
- Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
