About the role
Justteachers is currently recruiting a compassionate and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a student with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) at a specialist complex needs school in Warwick.
This full-time position is set to begin in September 2026 and will run for the full academic year.
The school supports students aged 4 to 19 with a wide range of complex needs, including PMLD, moderate learning difficulties (MLD), autism (ASD), speech and language challenges, and visual or hearing impairments.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support tailored to the students individual learning plan.
- Support communication, sensory, and physical needs as part of a multi-disciplinary approach.

- Encourage independence, self-esteem, and positive behaviour.
- Pre-requisites
- Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience supporting children with additional needs or in a care-based setting is desirable.
- Two education or care-based references.
