About the role: Justteachers is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Corby. This full-time role starts ASAP and runs until February 2027, with the possibility of extension. You will support pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them access learning and develop independence in a nurturing environment. The school promotes inclusive practice and strong teamwork among staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies
  • Assist pupils in developing communication, social, and emotional skills
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning activities
  • Support the preparation of differentiated learning materials

Pre-requisites:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN in an education or childcare setting
  • Calm, patient, and supportive approach to learning
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • Two references within the last two years from a related field
