About the role
Justteachers is recruiting a compassionate Pastoral Support Assistant for a secondary school in Corby. This full-time role begins ASAP and runs until January 2027. You will play a key role in supporting pupils’ wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement in school life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pastoral care and emotional support for pupils
- Assist with behaviour and attendance monitoring
- Build positive relationships with pupils and families
- Work alongside safeguarding and pastoral teams
- Support pupils in maintaining engagement with school
Pre‑requisites
- Experience working with young people in a pastoral or support role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- Two references within the last two years from a related field
