About the role
Justteachers are working with a secondary school near Thetford, who are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join their team on a full‑time basis. This is a long‑term supply position running through to the end of the academic year, ideal for a teacher who can step in quickly and deliver high‑quality lessons with confidence. You will be responsible for teaching Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and contributing to the wider school community. The school is supportive, well‑resourced, and committed to maintaining strong standards in digital literacy and computing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well‑structured Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum requirements
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain high standards
- Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support student progress
Pre‑requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Two education or school based references
- Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
- Experience teaching KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Ability to start immediately and commit to a full‑time timetable
- A proactive, positive approach to teaching and learning
