The setting provides a structured, supportive environment focused on personalised learning, functional skills, and preparation for further education, employment, or independent living. This is a full‑time position, available to start as soon as possible with the view on continuing into the new academic year.
Key Responsibilities:

- Reinforce key concepts to enable learners to build understanding, confidence, and independence in their learning.
- Use a range of structured support strategies, such as visual aids, modelling, clear instructions, and practical, hands‑on activities.

- Support learners in developing independence, communication, and social skills, in line with post‑16 outcomes and personal goals.

- Experience supporting older students or young people, ideally within post‑16, SEND, care, or similar educational settings.
- A good understanding of special educational needs and disabilities and how to adapt support to help learners access education and develop life skills.
