About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a KS2 Teacher to join a specialist SEND school in the Clitheroe area.
This full-time role is available on a long-term or permanent basis, starting in September 2026, with shortlisting currently taking place.
This nurturing and inclusive school supports children with a range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and significant developmental delays. The team is committed to delivering a personalised, sensory-based curriculum that promotes engagement, communication, and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
- Using multi-sensory and therapeutic approaches to support pre-formal and early learning development
- Collaborating with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic progress
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with children with complex SEND, including those working below age-related expectations
- Strong understanding of pre-formal learning, sensory integration, and communication strategies
- Two education or school-based references
