About the Role
Justteachers is seeking a dedicated, patient, and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within primary and/or secondary schools in Chorley.
You will work as part of a supportive team, helping pupils to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in a nurturing school environment.

- Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
- Location: Chorley
- Hours: Full time (term-time only)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or other additional needs
- Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving EHCP targets
- Assist the class teacher with differentiated lesson activities
- Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Support behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing where required
Pre‑requisites
- Experience working with children with SEND (school setting desirable)
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
